Selection Checklist
As
with any marketing or advertising activity exhibitions work
best when they are carefully targeted. There are many exhibitions
every year and no company can do them all - this checklist
will help you make sure you understand the value of Telematics
Detroit so you can make an informed, smart decision about
whether this is the right place for you to be.
1)
TYPE OF EXHIBITION
There
are many types of exhibition out there from vast trade shows
open to the general public to B2B events, private events,symposia
and more.
Telematics
Detroit is an international B2B event focussed on the niche
vertical of automotive telematics. The space is limited
to 60 exhibition booths which we expect to sell out quickly.
The exhibition runs from 8am to 6pm on May 23rd and
24th. Initially we began running an exhibition as
an added bonus to conference delegates but in recent years
we have allowed visitors to register for the exhibition only,
increasing the traffic and ensuring there is a constant flow
of people in and around the exhibition hall.
The
exhibition at Telematics Detroit is the largest telematics
specfic exhibition in the world.
2)
TARGET AUDIENCE
We
expect to receive around 1000 visitors to the exhibition.
Around 500 of these will be conference delegates. Visitors
will all work within the automotive telematics arena. For

3)
TIMING
Does
the event fit into your schedule and can you budget the time
and resources required to get the most of the opportunity?
These considerations largely depend on your company but rest
assured that at Telematics Detroit 2006 you will receive and
unprecedented amount of help and advice to help you get the
most ROI possible from your investment.
4)
FACILITIES
The
event is being promoted heavily through direct marketing to
our industry contacts and by extensive web and print advertising.
To promote your presence at the event we can help you with
preparing copy and providing you with banners and or graphics
etc The exhibition runs alongside the Telematics Detroit conference
and on the evening of the first day the annual Telematics
Awards are held, this increases traffic and media presence
at the event. Networking breaks and lunch traffic will all
flow through the exhibition hall.
5)
COSTS
Our
fee for your exhibition space is $2000
before March 3rd for a 10 x 10 booth,
after this the price will be $2500.
When
preparing your budget you must also factor in additional costs
paid to the venue for electricity, internet access etc + the
costs staffing and designing your display.
6)
PREVIOUS SUCCESS
The
exhibition at Telematics Detroit is now in its fifth year
and has seen year on year growth since the beginning as more
and more companies come to recognize the value that our focussed
exhibition provides.
