FAQs

  • I'm shortlisted - what do I need to next?

If you are shortlisted for an award you will have the opportunity to display a 30 second video clip about your nomination.

The only exception to this is for the leadership category for which a video clip is not appropriate - in this instance we require a high quality picture of the individual which we will display and we will read out some text about that person from the nomination.

If you are one of the lucky few that have been nominated for more than one award please provide a different video clip for each one if possible - if not you risk heckling from the audience as they watch a repeated clip!

  • What will happen on the night exactly?

After a short drinks reception everyone will take their seats for an exquisite meal and some light entertainment. Once the main course is served the judges will say a few words and then call out the first category.

The nominees’ video clips will then roll as the tension mounts and everyone awaits anxiously the final result. An envelope will be torn open, a name called and a short acceptance speech will ensue.

This is then repeated for the next category until all the trophies are handed out and the winners are all basking in their victory.

So in short - very similar in format to major awards ceremonies with which you will be familiar.
