Daniel Wittwer is Product Manager for mobile online services, BMW ConnectedDrive. This involves management of BMW Internet, Online Office, ConnectedServices, car system provisioning, Mobile Network Operator RFP for ConnectedDrive Services. Since 2010 his scope has switched to a strategic role for 2018 and beyond, regarding CE-Devices-Integration, High-Volume-Data Services, Displays, Audio/Entertainment/Apps and Navigation.

Wilhelm Steger is a senior executive manager who heads Delphi’s business unit for Infotainment & Driver Interface in Europe, Middle-East and Africa. He is also a member of the management board of Delphi Deutschland GmbH. In his current role, he is responsible for the entire interior electronics portfolio such as head units, clusters, displays, center stacks, switches, steering column modules, roof modules and multi-functional antennas.

Before joining Delphi in early 2009, Dr. Steger served as executive vice president for the automotive multimedia business segment at Continental AG, which had acquired the SiemensVDO group in 2007. Prior to that, he oversaw the same business unit as its senior vice president for strategic marketing, product management and advanced technologies. In that role, he supported major growth in Asia both by successful bookings with Asian customers and merger and acquisition activities in Korea.
Dr. Steger began his industry career at Siemens AG as director of marketing at Siemens’ Controls and Drives for Machine Tools, Robots and Special Machines Division.
Prior to that, he served as senior scientist and manager of the Technical Data Processing Group at the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (IPA) in Stuttgart, Germany.
A German native, Wilhelm Steger earned a Ph.D. from the University of Stuttgart and a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University Munich.

Roger Lanctot, Automotive Consultant, has 20-plus years of experience in the technology industry as an industry analyst, journalist and consultant. Before joining Strategy Analytics, Mr. Lanctot was director of business development at iSuppli Corporation, which acquired Telematics Research Group in July of 2008. He also directed sales and business development for TRG for five years prior to the acquisition, focusing on aftermarket and portable device segments in the emerging telematics market. Prior to TRG he directed research and business development at NPD and PC Data.

Mr. Lanctot was Research Editor for Computer Retail Week, and also had editorial positions at Fairchild Publication’s HFN and Hearst Business Communications’ Office World News. In addition, he held research positions with other media companies.

Roger Lanctot is a graduate of Dartmouth College.

Frederic Bruneteau is the founder and Managing Director of PTOLEMUS Consulting Group, the first international strategic advisory firm entirely focused on LBS and telematics.
Frederic assists all leading players in designing effective strategies and value propositions around geo-connected mobility.

Before PTOLEMUS, he was managing TOMTOM INTERNATIONAL’s Content & Services Product Line in Amsterdam. He defined the company’s worldwide strategy and product development for maps, traffic, points of interests, local search, speed cameras, etc. He also defined its geographic expansion strategy towards new markets (China, India, Thailand, etc.).

David Levine is the Global Head of Automotive Business Development and Strategy at Vodafone. He leads a team of highly-experienced individuals responsible for setting and delivering on Vodafone's global strategy in the ConnectedCar space and brings a myriad of experience from the automotive and emerging technology worlds.

Prior to Vodafone, David was the European Head of Automotive Business Development at traffic-information company INRIX (formerly ITIS) and was the founder/Managing Director of the German traffic business ITIS Deutschland. David joined ITIS from Hewlett-Packard where he spent 7 years in a variety of mobile technology positions; laterally as part of the CTO organisation running a joint-venture with Nokia in Europe. 

David has a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Manchester and an MBA from the Manchester Business School.
