Truck and Trailer Telematics 2007 is organised during The European Road Transport Show 2007 (TERTS), the leading international platform for the European commercial vehicle industry and road haulage industry.

In 2007 TERTS will once again be the sole show to have the European ‘A' status. The European Road Transport Show will be held in Amsterdam (The Netherlands ) form 26 October to 3 November 2007.

Three major awards

TERTS: the platform for the launching of various world firsts and other new products. Innovations play an important role in the exhibition, this year 3 major international awards will be presented again:

Special Telematics Pavilion

Smart solutions, particularly in IT, will receive a great deal of attention during TERTS 2007. First of all during the Truck and Trailer Telematics conference on October 30 and 31.

Next to that, information technology solutions for aspects such as maintenance and fleet management are being given an increasingly important role on the trade show floor.

This includes everything from simple navigation systems (for trucks and other vehicles) to complex tracing and tracking, route planning and hour registration systems, as well as ultra-modern road pricing systems provide an excellent indication of advances within the industry.

A special pavilion will underline the fast-growing influence of information technology in road transportation. Some 18 participants have already signed up to exhibit existing technology there, with a particular emphasis on new developments relevant for the near future.
